⚡ GS6 Surveys Completed ⚡

Back out on site this week in the Norwich area, meeting UKPN to complete GS6 surveys on three separate sections of 11kV overhead lines.

Even at 11kV, overhead lines present clear operational constraints - particularly where mobile plant, lifting operations, or changes in ground levels are involved. The GS6 process establishes defined working parameters and ensures that appropriate control measures are identified before infrastructure contractors commence onsite works.

The results of this survey will also be used by the infrastructure contractor when pricing the plant required for their works.

And, in a rare turn of events, after what feels like six continuous weeks of rain, the survey was completed under blue skies. A welcome bonus for everyone on site!
